Harper tried a case of admitted liability to a verdict in the Circuit Court of Saint Charles County.The pretrial offer was in the amount of $45,000.00 and plaintiff’s lowest pretrial demand was $350,000.00. The plaintiff’s  attorney requested $800,000.00 from the jury. The jury returned a verdict for $42,000.
